Costume and Scenic Design

Coming soon: Lover Beloved, a new musical at The Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas by Suzanne Vega with music by Duncan Sheik, and Transfers by Lucy Thurber at MCC theatre in New York.

Jessica has designed at regional theaters across the United States including Studio Theatre, The Long Wharf Theatre, Cleveland Playhouse, Dallas Theater Center, Baltimore Center Stage, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, South Coast Repertory, The Folger Theatre, Arena Stage, The Alley Theatre, and Actors Theatre of Louisville, to name a few.

In New York she has worked with Womens Project, Labyrinth Theater Company, Ars Nova, The Play Company, Second Stage, P73, Rattlestick Playwright’s Theatre, Pearl Theatre and The Public Theater, among others.

Education: MFA, Yale School of Drama. BA, Towson University.

Awards: For These Paper Bullets, Jessica received a 2016 Drama Desk Nomination for Best Costume Design at Atlantic Theater Company in NYC, 2015 LA Critics Circle and Sage awards and a 2016 Ovation nomination for Best Costume Design at Geffen Playhouse in LA, and a 2014 Connecticut Critics Circle Award for Best Costume Design at Yale Rep in New Haven, CT.  She also received a 2015 Connecticut Critics Circle Award nomination for The Liar at Westport Country Playhouse.  Jessica was a recipient of the NEA/TCG Fellowship for Directors and Designers from 2007-09.

Teaching: Jessica has been on the faculties at Maryland Institute College of Art, Mount Holyoke College, and UMass Amherst.
